My two kids went on their first camp today and well they are absolutely buzzing to say the least. They utterly loved it and cannot stop talking about their day. Thanks heaps to Sean for bringing the camp to Geraldton. Highly recommend these camps if your child loves minecraft!

My 6 & 7yr old girls attended today's camp in Bunbury and had a fabulous time. They told me they loved learning about different 'worlds' and how to use the keyboard (since we are mainly ipad users). Sean is extremely patient and can relate to the children well. We will definitely be attending more of Sean's workshops in the future. Highly recommended. A++++

My 10yo went to his first Minecraft camp today and LOVED it. He is asking to go back again! I am really impressed with the encouragement given to “level up” to become coaches by helping other people out. Thanks for a great day Sean

Arrive and settle in
The computers will be logged in on our accounts but if you have your own this is the time to log in – parents should stay for this!

Overview of the day
The day is split into 3 main sections/worlds. Tutorial challenge, Survival village Build, Creative theme build and some free time afterwards.
Team build shape challenge
Your tables are your teams. Move together through the map as a team. Build the shapes as a team, explore as a group.

Crafting recipes & Cyber Safety
Receive your workbook and craft up some food. Keep your identity a secret while online – you never know…
First break – Outside
Recess time outside to feed our bodies, get some air, and give our eyes a break. No devices please.

Commands and warps
How to navigate the Mind Buzz server and get back to our village anytime from anywhere.
Village build project
Our mission is to create, expand, and protect the village. We will claim land, create shops, pay NPCs to build and get ready to survive.

Protect the village
Where there are villagers there are also pillagers. We need to protect our friends from the hordes. Luckily we have been preparing!
Lunch break – Outside
Lunch time outside to feed our bodies, get some air, and give our eyes a break. No devices please.

Creative Plots Build
Time to switch mental gears and let our imaginations run wild in creative mode. Each day we negotiate a theme e.g. futuristic, medieval, etc.
FREE Time
Usually the last half hour is free choice. Some choose to go back to the village, sme carry on with their creative builds, others go to Skyblocks, One Block. Others all jump on a minigame together – you choose.

Parents come in & we wrap up
Before the end of the day students are instructed to show their parents/carers the village and creative builds. Come and quiz your kids on what they learnt!

Through Minecraft, a huge amount can be learned about computer science, coding foundations, and how to collaborate and work in virtual environments. We teach 21st-century skills in fun, educational, workshops.
