If your kids can’t play Minecraft Multiplayer, your Microsoft family settings might be the reason. You would think the settings for that would be in Microsoft Family Settings but they aren’t. They are hidden away in a different app – The Xbox Family Settings app. I have not yet found a way to do this easily outside of this app.
You should be the organizer and your kids should be the members. This is all set up in the Microsft Family Settings app, but can be done in this app too apparently.
Click on the member you want and scroll down to Cross-Network Play. You need to allow it.
Thats all you need to do. It’s not instant so you will need to wait for the settings to filter through. Sometimes it can take up to a day…
Drop us a line. We love to help out.
